Our Sixth Form Centre is a thriving, coeducational Sixth Form with 300 culturally diverse, ambitious students; it is also home to the nationally accredited Basketball Academy and newly formed Cricket Academy.
We offer a broad and varied curriculum with a range of pathways, catering for the needs of all students, taught by teachers who have great expertise in their subject areas.
Judged as an outstanding Sixth Form by Ofsted in 2007, and rated in the top 1% nationally for student performance, we offer you a structured approach to learning in a lively and supportive environment.
We are committed to providing you with a high quality teaching and learning experience and our personal review tutoring system provides you with appropriate pastoral advice and guidance to support your needs.
Throughout your time in the sixth form, personal targets will be set and reviewed to enable you to set goals and ensure success in the future.
In addition, regular monitoring of your progress with additional support when necessary will result in you achieving your full potential.
Alongside your studies, you will be provided with enrichment and extracurricular opportunities that will support the development of the qualities and skills you need to be successful in the future.
The excellent results achieved by our students have allowed them to gain places on a wide range of degree programmes, both academic and vocational, or on appropriate training programmes, including apprenticeships.
We are proud of our 0% NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) record and our rigorous Information, Advice and Guidance programme will support you in ensuring that you are able to pursue a career in your chosen pathway.
